Privacy statement

Blue Apple BV operates the technical website www.auto-ac-reporter.com and the magazine Automotive A/C Reporter. Part of the activities are a technical database and a printed technical magazine for companies which have subscribed to these products.

The data which are collected from  the companies that have subscribed to these services strictly comprise of the following subscriber contact information: company name-contactperson- adress, telephone and e-mail information and the name of the person that subscribed to our services. The objective of collecting this information is strictly to be able to send or make available  technical and industry information  that is related to the automotive air conditioning and cooling & heating industry through the Automotive A/C Reporter website-mailfunction, the technical database, the printed magazine and subscriber invoices.  

The information that is collected by Blue Apple aka Automotive A/C Reporter will not be shared with third parties. On request the customer, respectively  subscriber, may request his/her data, held by us though mail, email, website e-mail or spoken, or can have them changed on request.

Blue Apple reserves the right to change this statement.


May 2018: Daimler introduces new  R-744 vehicle models

In June Daimler has announced  that it has now equipped more vehicle types with R-744 a/c systems. It concerns E- and S-Class models with two a/c evaporators. This does not include the electrified versions of these vehicle models. 


 January 2018: Upgrade technical database auto a/c service

Soon our technical database for auto a/c service, repair and diagnostics will be renewed with a new front page and easier access. Contact  us if you have questions. There will also be a new tech section soon.


Mercedes has to change a/c systems

On April 28th the German Federal Motor Transport Authority KBA has called on Daimler to recall cars and rebuild their a/c systems from R-134a to R1234yf. This could involve 134.000 cars that have been built in the first six months of the year 2013 and affects Mercedes A-class, B-class, CLA-class, S-class and SL-class models. Background of the recall is Germany's alleged failure to apply the MAC Directive.

Tech Database: new section 

From November of this  year ( 2017) , the tech database will be added a new section with technical information about how to  de-electrify  the electrical systems in varipus car types that are sold in Europe. The  high resolution diagrammes are easy to read, are highly detailed and enable identifying the various components. Contact us for more information. 


R-1234yf website section

This website  features a R-1234yf website section for subscribers ( login required) to the website. It contains all relevant HFO-1234yf documents such as MSDS, convention presentations, press releases, official statements by refrigerant manufacturers, car makers, equipment makers ( e.g. user manuals)  and  governmental- and other institutions.
